Our Team
Dr Xuan (Susan) Dao (Adelaide) – Principal Dentist
Dr Susan Dao, the founder of Leichhardt Dental Surgery, graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1996 and moved to Sydney to open up her practice in Leichhardt. She has been here ever since. She has a strong passion for dentistry, has been practising since 1996 and still thoroughly enjoys it. Susan is a caring and nurturing dentist with a keen eye for early orthodontic intervention. She is keen on orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry as she wants all patients to achieve their best smile.
When she isn’t practising dentistry, she loves spending time with her two children, arranging flowers, making cakes and travelling when she can.
Dr Gina Chiu (Queensland) - Dentist
Dr Gina Chiu is a highly qualified dentist who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. She returned to her hometown of Sydney in 2010, where she has been practising dentistry ever since. Having completed her secondary and tertiary education in Australia, she is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
With her kind and thoughtful approach, Dr Chiu carefully considers each patient’s needs. Her areas of expertise include orthodontics, endodontics, and sleep dentistry. Dr Chiu is committed to staying up to date with the latest techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care to her patients.
In her leisure time, Dr Chiu enjoys travelling and spending time with her loved ones.
Dr Monica Wang (Sydney) - Dentist
Dr Monica Wang is a highly experienced dentist who graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999. With over two decades of experience in private practice in the North Shore area of Crows Nest and the Inner West of Leichhardt, Dr Wang has a deep understanding of dentistry and is passionate about providing her patients with the highest quality dental care. She specializes in oral screening and early intervention, particularly in orthodontics, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Wang is known for her kind and patient approach and ability to make children feel at ease during dental visits. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, travelling, playing music, exercising, and indulging in delicious cuisine.
Dr Victoria Cheng (CSU) - Dentist
Dr Victoria Cheng completed her dentistry studies at Charles Sturt University in 2019 and has since practised in several locations, including Orange, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, and Nepean. She is particularly interested in preventive and restorative dental care and is passionate about ensuring that her patients receive a pleasant experience during every visit to the dentist.
Dr Cheng enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafes, drawing, and hiking in her free time.
Anna Cheng (Sydney) - Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist
Anna is a highly skilled dental professional who graduated from the University of Sydney. During her studies, she gained experience working in various public sectors, including Westmead, Nepean and the Sydney Dental Hospital. Anna has a wealth of experience in all aspects of dental care and is exceptionally knowledgeable in therapeutic treatments, paediatric dentistry and hygiene treatments for patients of all ages. She has also actively participated in numerous oral health promotion projects in Jindabyne.
Anna is a cheerful and bubbly individual who takes great pride in making every dental visit a positive experience for her patients. She is committed to providing high-quality dental care in a warm and friendly environment. Anna enjoys pursuing her passion for photography, outdoor adventures, and travel in her free time.
